Michael LeMay

Audiologist / Au.D., CCC0-A

Meet Michael LeMay

Dr. LeMay has been a practicing audiologist in Reno for nearly 25 years. An alumnus of the University of Nevada Reno, Dr. LeMay graduated with a degree in speech pathology and audiology and went on to earn his master’s degree in audiology from Southern Illinois University and his doctorate in audiology from Pennsylvania College of Optometry, School of Audiology. Dr. LeMay is a fellow of the American Academy of audiology. He is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association and a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology.

He specializes in the diagnosis and management of hearing loss in patients of all ages. Dr. LeMay offers computerized electronystagmography (ENG/VNG), which assists in the diagnosis of vertigo and balance problems. In addition, he offers a comprehensive evaluation of tinnitus and central auditory processing disorders in children and adults. His philosophy is to obtain as thorough an initial evaluation as possible in order to determine whether the patient’s hearing loss will benefit from a medical or surgical solution, or if hearing instrument technology is appropriate.

Dr. LeMay works closely with a number of ear, nose, and throat physicians and surgeons throughout the region so when medical or surgical intervention is needed, an appropriate referral is made. Each patient is treated on a case-by-case basis and given a personalized solution.
