Meet Mark H. Scoones

Born and raised in Montana, Dr. Mark Scoones has been practicing audiology since 1985. A retired Navy Captain with 35 years of Naval Military Service, he truly loves the audiology profession, particularly improving his patients’ communication skills and quality of life.

Dr. Scoones earned his master’s in audiology from the University of Wyoming and his doctorate from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. He is board-certified in audiology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and Academy of Doctors of Audiology.

An equally dedicated family man, Mark and his wife Debbie—who has worked alongside Mark at the clinic for 35 years. Debbie is now semi-retired and now works from home. They have a son and daughter. Mark’s son and family live in Cosmopolis, and their daughter and family live in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Mark also has three beautiful granddaughters, Collynns, Olivia and Alana.

In his spare time, you may find him attending theatre events, on the golf course, cycling or landscaping, gardening at home or adventuring with his two Shih Tzus, Barney and Bailey—West Coast Hearing Clinic’s official ambassadors (who often come to the practice to greet patients, as well).
