Meet Beth Turek

Beth received her Bachelor of Science, from COMD, and Post Graduate level studies were completed at NIU. She is licensed to dispense hearing aids in 3 states – IL, WI, FL.  She has over 35 years of experience in the hearing health industry.

Beth is hearing impaired (since childhood) and always knew she wanted to help others. She has worn nearly every manufacturer’s device at one point or another, which gives her great insight into what different technology can provide her patients.  She can help patients select what is best for their personal needs/loss.

Her favorite thing about helping others hear and understand better is watching their lives change for the better, while seeing how their relationships with friends and family become easier.  Hearing better is rewarding for her patient, as well as their loved ones. Every day in the clinic is an opportunity to help patients become more successful with their communication. She enjoys coming to work every day!

Beth focuses on function. She analyzes and tests where the patient stands functionally before their hearing aid fitting, reassess within one week, then monthly for about 6 mo.  Once her and her patient have optimized their outcome over time and their relationship blossoms, they rest assured she has helped them hear their very best. Her patients feel cared for, and she encourages them to see her with their hearing successes, and their concerns – should they arise.

When not in the office, she loves to bike ride, golf, fish, and travel, but more importantly, she thoroughly enjoys her grown children, granddaughter and loving sisters and father. She also enjoys “puttering” and is mechanically inclined, having grown up with a contractor/construction background. She likes to stay busy!
