Meet Aleah Fox
Aleah Fox is a Hearing Aid Specialist in WA and OR. She has been in the hearing care industry since 2015. She attended Bates Technical College in Tacoma WA, interned at Allenmore Hospital in Tacoma WA, and also became certified as a Newborn hearing screener.
Aleah grew up wearing hearing devices, having worn them since she was 5. She studied sign language for three years and developed an interest in hearing and language culture. During college, she was able to learn how to program and navigate hearing devices. She gained a powerful drive to help others learn about their hearing loss, and how to better navigate their hearing journey.
One of her favorite things about being in the Hearing Health Care Profession is building relationships with her patients to help them better understand their hearing needs, whether they are a first-time hearing device user, or a long-term wearer. She enjoys being able to relate to patients and connect with them on a personal level as a long-time wearer herself. Additionally, she enjoys programming hearing devices and views this part of her profession as an art form.
Aleah goes into every appointment with an open mind, passion, and empathy. She has learned that no one person is the same. Each patient has a uniqueness, and she caters to what that patient needs.
A few days a week, Aleah helps to run an adult sports league out of Seattle, Washington. Whenever possible, she loves to travel and be around friends and family.
