Meet Jessica Kaganskiy

Jessica has been working as a full time audiologist for over 3 years. She did her undergraduate studies at the University of Delaware, and her graduate studies at the CUNY Graduate Center.

She initially thought she would pursue a career in speech pathology, although after taking a few audiology classes in undergrad, she realized how fascinating audiology is. She decided to pivot to audiology, and hasn’t looked back since.

Jessica loves working with different populations and being able to see how having access to sound can change people’s lives for the better. From being able to hear the birds chirping, to hearing their grandchildren again, it’s amazing to see the impact of hearing.

She believes that patient-centered care is extremely important. Taking the time to listen to a patient’s concerns and taking them into account when creating a plan for their hearing health. Each patient is unique and comes with their own history, so they should be treated as such.

In her spare time, Jessica loves music, reading, cooking, and traveling.
