Meet Bernard J. Torri, M.A.

Bernard J. Torri, M.A., is a founding member of the Illinois Academy of Audiology, and a member of the American Academy of Audiology. Torri, a 1975 graduate of the Northern Illinois University Department of Communication Disorders, has been dispensing for 38 years with over 8,000 hearing aid fittings. In 1975 Torri helped establish the second dispensing Audiology practice in the state, with Lankford and Schoenfield in Aurora, IL. Torri moved to his hometown area of Peru, IL in 1979 to be able to work and assist in the care of an ailing family member. Torri established a new dispensing Audiology/ENT center with Dr. V. Pira, M.D., whose invaluable association lasted for 20 years. This same location is now owned by St. Margaret’s Hospital, where Torri continued to provide Audiological service for an additional 11 years. A desire to devote more time and greater services to his hearing aid patients generated the passionate establishment of AudiTorri Associates in Ottawa, IL at 2741 Columbus Street and a new second office in Peru, IL at 1921 4th Street.  His work experience gave him valuable insight into the operations of various practices around the area. Many doctors in Ottawa, LaSalle-Peru area currently refer their patients and friends to Torri.
