Hearing Care Services in Sheridan, WY
Hearing loss can gradually erode our ability to enjoy conversations, stay connected with loved ones and participate in daily activities. In addition to impacting quality of life, hearing loss can lead to cognitive health conditions in the future if left untreated.
The talented staff at Wyoming Audiology & Hearing is committed to helping you hear your best. We provide comprehensive evaluations that identify the type and severity of your hearing loss and lay the foundation for a personalized treatment plan. If hearing aids are the recommended solution for your hearing loss, one of our experienced providers will guide you toward an option that fits your lifestyle, budget and hearing needs. We offer additional services, including hearing aid fitting, maintenance, repairs and follow-up hearing care to support you throughout your journey.
If you have hearing loss, the next step is determining which hearing aids are right for you. Modern hearing aids are available in a wide variety of styles and have advanced features like Bluetooth connectivity. We’ll help you find the best technology and fit for your unique needs and preferences.
More on Evaluation for Hearing AidsOnce you’ve selected a hearing aid model, you’ll need to schedule an appointment to have it fitted to your ear. This process ensures the hearing aid is as comfortable for you to wear as possible and that you’re getting optimal performance from it. This will also be an opportunity for you to discuss your new hearing aids with a professional and ask any questions you may have about them.
More on Hearing Aid Dispensing & FittingHearing aids can last anywhere from three to seven years, but following proper maintenance routines can prolong their longevity. Our office can help you care for your hearing aids – whether you need preventative care or minor repairs. We are equipped to make in-office repairs and can serve as a liaison should your hearing aids need more extensive work.
More on Hearing Aid Repair & MaintenanceIf you’re unsure about whether you have hearing loss, we can help by performing a wide variety of hearing tests. These include speech testing, bone conduction testing and air conduction tests, among others. We can also help with industrial hearing screenings if your workplace requests these. The data that we get from your hearing tests will let us know whether you have hearing loss and, if you do, what the best course of treatment is moving forward.
More on Industrial Hearing ScreeningTinnitus can be a difficult condition to live with, but there are steps you can take to improve it. We offer sound therapy, tinnitus retraining therapy and other forms of care, such as helping you choose a hearing aid with a tinnitus-masking feature. We know how frustrating tinnitus can be, which is why we’re committed to finding you the ideal relief method.
